The 1/2 Zip Hoodie is Made-to-Order with a production time of 3-5 weeks.

For a simple garment, sweatshirts take a surprisingly long time to get right. And when you’re boldly merging the swaddling comfort of a pullover with the layering opportunities of a zip-up, patience pays. After nine (9) months of pattern development and five (5) samples, I think we really got it right.

The 1/2 Zip Hoodie looks up to the rafters at the classic knits that came before whilst referencing current personal favorite sweatshirts in fabric & fit. Where we’ve landed is a hoodie that’s contemporary in its relaxed proportions, but maintains its flattering vintage touches.

We’ve cut these from heavy French terry that’s milled in North Carolina from organic USA cotton. It’s a luxe and durable fabric. Our zippers come from YKK, based in Kentucky. In fact, all of the sweatshirt’s ingredients are sourced from within the East coast! We even had our neighbor Griffen of Chareco Sew knit us custom cotton drawstrings!

As always, these are sewn in-house in limited numbers.
