This shirt is cut & sewn from an appliquéd tablecloth c. 1940s-50s. The butter yellow cotton has been hand-patched with flowers, vases, and leaves. These floral tablecloths were popular kits at the time—their adornment a practice of handcraft. We’ve cut & sew the design to emphasize its original symmetry and accentuate the garment’s front, back, collar, and sleeves.
