I first made this shirt several years ago to have a high quality piece to wear to my restaurant job. It was dressy without being too nice, comfortable and durable, and just different enough to leave an impression. The ‘6-Button Blouse’ has since become my most worn SP piece—and I wear the clothes I make everyday.

The hemp/organic cotton cloth has the beautiful texture of linen, but with a little more structure. The middle weight makes it ideal in these transition seasons; I throw it on under a sweater, I put it on over a turtleneck, when it’s warm out I unbutton the front placket. Hell, if I had a field to till or a wedding to attend, I could probably wear it there, too.

Versatile, stylish, and humble. The ‘6-Button Blouse’ is one piece you’ll be wearing year round. At least, it is for me.
